The Key Holders Are Real!   (search: seven key holders of the internet)

Seven people around the world are mysteriously abducted by a cyber madman known online as eVry1. Together they hold the most valuable password in the world.  They are the Key Holders, and their fate, along with control of the Internet, rests in the hands of one woman.

Sidney Marks, deaf since childhood and irreverent since birth, was an elite criminal hacker with a dark vendetta, until she was arrested by veteran FBI Agent Ted Spagnoli.  Desperate to avenge his fallen partner, he conned a young agent, Zach Quinn, into covertly working with Sidney to find eVry1. But Zach was hiding a secret of his own.

In a heart-pounding race against the clock, Sidney and Zach follow the trail to China where they must face their demons to save the Key Holders and themselves.  With the fate of the Internet at stake, they find something deep in Shanghai's old town that neither expected … each other.

Another exciting thriller from Scott Hilsen that I could not put down. Could the Internet itself actually be hijacked? This fast-paced novel answers that question. As a former FBI Special Agent, I have enjoyed Scott’s work because of the cutting-edge issues presented and how law enforcement responds. I highly recommend!

"Scott Hilsen has grown into a literary force in this genre. The story line is super imaginative and the pace keeps you riveted all the way through. The prose is rich, but one does not need to reach for the dictionary all the time, a bane of some writers."  Southernpole (Amazon Review)

"Scott Hilsen has done it again! Another page turner! Hilsen's writing style creates a visual picture for the reader that is almost movie-like. He is also able to educate the reader on highly complex subject matter in an entertaining and fast-paced novel format. A thoroughly enjoyable read with high crime, international intrigue and an unconventional heroine."  Ron L (Amazon Review)

"Exceptional book and nice follow up to his last novel. His writing is evocative and taut with suspense, with a level of nuance that sets the book apart from other true crime/suspense books. Can't wait for the next one. Thank you Mr. Hilsen."  (Amazon Review)

"Excellent book. Storyline is very current and intriguing. Could not put the book down."  Jewels (Amazon Review)

"Somewhere in the world, unbeknownst to the average Internet user, there are seven people in the world who hold in their possession the most important password ever created: the password to the entire Internet. What happens if all seven of these people are taken at the same time and then held as ransom? That is the premise of Scott Hilsen's third exciting book. The reader is taken along on a worldwide journey as two people - one, an FBI agent who is trying to redeem himself, and the other a deaf "white hat" hacker. It is a race against time as they fight enemies, seen and unseen, and their growing passion for each other. I truly enjoyed this book. I have read Mr. Hilsen's previous books with equal enjoyment, but this may be the one I enjoyed the most thus far. I found myself staying up late into the night trying to read "just one more chapter". I look forward to more books by this up and coming author. I would recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of James Patterson or Lee Child."  krisNDaATL (Amazon Review)
