ARE WE ALONE?

Zeke Daniels grew up poor in the South, but he kept his head up by studying the stars. Now in college, he is determined to overcome racial prejudices and change the world by solving one of humanity’s greatest questions: Are we alone in the universe?

After a renowned astronomer is brutally murdered, Zeke unexpectedly receives funding from an anonymous sponsor to search for signals from space at an observatory high in the Atacama Desert in Chile. When he and his computer-whiz best friend find a possible message from the Phantom Galaxy, they embark on a cross-country road trip to find the one person who can help decipher it deep under the Black Hills in South Dakota. But lurking in the shadows is a biblical cult hellbent on destroying any evidence of extraterrestrial beings to prevent the second fall of mankind.

On the run and trailed by a secret FBI/NASA task force, their only chance to save themselves is to prove that the anomaly from outer space is real.

“Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.”
